| well, since its 2 am and i'm wide awake but feeling unproductive I might as well make an entry. I'm awake because our fire alarm went off a little after 1 am and it was actually real, for once, but now I can't get back to sleep. Although I really should because I have a final tomorrow. Hmm, this sucks. Anyways I will be home in...five days, which is scary, all my stuff packed in boxes. Then leaving for Brazil only two weeks after that. Well, anyways, I went to a renaisance re-creation last weekend which was really fun. I had to wear a dress for a few days but oh well. Well, i should go to bed good night | | |
| So, since me and David are both taking beginning ballroom dance we have to each go to two dances and it looks like one of the only ones i can make is this saturday, so we're going dancing this saturday:) which should be really fun. I have a ultimate frisbee game this afternoon, provided I finish my chem lab, with Hillel. And since the question was asked and I'm pretty sure only people I KNOW are subscribed to my xanga David is my boyfriend, and it will be two months next weekend, which he will be gone for, but its all good. Nothing much else interesting is happening except going to class, which is fun for the most part but its a huge course load this quarter and all I want to do right now is go play outside in the nice warm weather but i need to finish my chem lab and math homework. | Look! I'm finding a new way to procrastinate on studying!! This is soo bad..I haven't been able to focus for the past THREE days on chemistry...something needs to be done, but I don't know what. Anyways, I'm going to take another shot at it... or maybe I'll do my terms for environmental studies...or maybe I should review the lecture notes...THIS IS WHY I CAN'T FOCUS!! then go to this amazing lecture series instead of studying..like I went to this awesome orchestra concert yesterday. | | |
| Ok, today is a good day today! I thought I was dead because I forgot to go on the website to get some results for my geography lab but I ran into some people in my class, yay!! Now all I need to do for today is go to my chem lab review, go meet w/ my geog. TA and then write the agenda for our conference call tonight! Its actually going to be a good day. I'm in a really good mood, and i'm not sure why. Maybe its that I'm getting over being sick and have less work/stress than expected. Plus I bought GS cookies yesterday!! Caramel delights, for finals:) Did you know San Diego calls them Samoas? Big conversation w/ my roomate a few nights ago, it was pretty funny. We get along so well, the only times we've had arguments have been over stupid stuff, such as chemistry/logs (it turned out we were both arguing the same thing) and gs cookie names. Got into the housing I wanted for next year! Suite, here we come! Got to go to chem review, ttyl | | |
| Wow, so much has happened, its been a crazy couple of weeks. Went to UC Santa Cruz last weekend, which was a lot of fun and hard work at the same time; meetings from 9 am to 11 PM on Saturday, it was crazyness, which is why I didn't say hi to anyone. Anyways, just letting everyone know that I'm going to be coming back on March 17th and staying until the next Sunday, which should be a lot of fun.
I've basically just been studying and doing work on several campaigns for environmental affairs board, need to keep my grades up, my geography midterm sucked, so I really need to do well on the final, and on my chem final, and on ALL my finals. I'm going to go this orchestra performance on wed. night, i'm getting my ticket comped too:). Going to go see our school put on Cabaret next Friday too, apparently you have to have a "special invite"; its cool to be good friends with music majors. Well, should get back to work, see most of you over spring break hopefully. | | |
